Clinton went 10-2 and is moving into a new conference while continuing to chase playoff berths. Head coach Chris Dufrene, in his 25th year as head coach (30 total), writes, “We are moving into a new conference and as always looking to make it to the playoffs.” His staff includes Jordan Benson, Joe Hudson, Jesse Wilson and Keith Perman, with Phillip Jones as booster president.

Offensively, Clinton returns four starters and bases out of the wing-T but can be multiple. Senior RB/DB Harold McNabb (5-9, 150) is a key playmaker, a “3 year started at wing back moving to running back this year,” highlighting his expanded role. Senior OL/DL Eden Cifuentes (5-10, 241) and senior OL/DL Coy Whatley (6-4, 254) anchor the line, and senior QB/DB Briaden Venable (5-10, 185), senior kicker Dereck Infante (5-8, 150) and senior RB/LB Hayden Jones (5-8, 165) round out the listed offensive core. Dufrene notes they “Base out of wing t but can do multiple,” giving them formation flexibility.

Defensively, four starters return in a 4-3 that largely mirrors the offensive personnel.
